This site was developed mostly as a means of staying in touch with friends and family, as we found ourselves increasingly separated by time and distance. I’ve had to say many goodbyes over the past few years, some of them permanent (at least in this realm), but most with the hope that the friendship will withstand whatever time and distance throw at us.
